If you have enrolled in a distance class at RCC, you could
be taking a class taught by another Oregon community college. Below is
information that you will need to be successful with your online class.
http://distance.roguecc.edu/schedule/index.cfm has
a complete list of the distance classes currently being offered. Find your
class in the list and follow the link to find important information about
the class you have enrolled in, such as instructor contact information, orientation
days and times, whether the class is an RCC class or offered by another college,
bookstore information (how to purchase the books needed for the course),
and how to access the class once the term starts.
Prior to the start of the term you should send your instructor
an email so that he/she will have your email address. Include your phone
number and the best time for the instructor to call you.
If you are having any problems accessing the class, the first person
to contact is your instructor.

Successful distance learning students actively participate in class on a regular basis. This is particularly important during the first week of class. All classes require the completion of an orientation, either online or in person. Others require specific introductory activities, such as posting to a discussion board, or completing an assignment.
PLEASE NOTE that all RCC courses are subject to administrative drop. You must log into your Rogue Online course website prior to 11:59 p.m. of the first Sunday of the term or you may be administratively dropped by the instructor and receive a full refund. After logging into your Rogue Online course follow your instructor's guidelines for establishing attendance in the course. It is your responsibility to abide by individual class policies and procedures as outlined in your course syllabus and/or orientation. If you have questions about your enrollment status please contact your instructor or Rogue Central.
